– Office Assistant
- Assist in planning & preparing for Special events (i.e. Retreats, Meetings, Conferences…)
- Purchase/Prepare various food/snack/water/ supplies for office
- Order Printed/Marketing materials as needed (i.e. visitor books, business cards, next steps cards, Bibles…)
- Maintain working knowledge of all office equipment & supplies, and be willing to help/train others
- Prepare for & assist Pastor with special services (i.e. Easter)
- Perform general/light cleaning tasks as needed
- Transcribe dictation; type letters/emails or other documents as needed
- Perform general office work, under the supervision of the Pastor / Administrator and in cooperation with Elders and the other office staff. Maintain/respond to daily emails; collect & distribute US postal mail, order & maintain office & church supplies
- Keep a calendar of appointments and church events. Ensure Google / Website calendar is up to date
- Edit and prepare weekly announcements (in Word & PowerPoint)
- Facilitate operational communications with department heads
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to maintain focus and professionalism, both in person and by phone. This includes honoring confidentiality
- Must be a Christian and represent not only Liberty Life Center but Jesus Christ Himself and demonstrate real love and concern for all people
- Basic accounting/bookkeeping procedures and QuickBooks are a plus
- Skilled at building and maintaining good, collaborative relationships and working through conflicts
- Proficiency in email communications is required
- Must be able to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines
- Minimum: High School diploma or GED, some college preferred, and one year’s office administrative experience
- Must be an active member of a local church
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to work with graphics, (i.e. Publisher, Corel Draw, or Photoshop)
- Strong organizational, filing, and time management skills, including the ability to manage several projects at the same time
