Founded nearly 30 years ago, Lee's Ice is a family owned manufacturer, distributor, and wholesaler of packaged ice with facilities in Orlando, Sarasota, and Fort Myers with aspiration in the near future of growth into Tampa and East Coast markets.


While our goal is to provide the best quality ice to our customers, our brand is defined in the way our employees are passionate and care about customer relations and tentative care to our production.


We have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to work in our main branch located in Orlando to help continue to grow our company by being our Office Manager/Human Resources. This individual will work directly with the general manager and ownership group.


Responsibilities

  • Supports monthly financial reconciliation, budget upkeep, and forecast reporting.
  • Communication. Must demonstrate the ability to effectively exchange and create a free flow of information with and among various employees at all levels of the organization to produce impactful outcomes.
  • Human Resource Technical Expertise and Practice. Demonstrates the ability to apply the principles and practices of human resource management to contribute to the success of Lee's Ice
  • Oversees accounting, bank processes and money handling, monitoring the financial data and recommending solutions to improve profitability.
  • Processes all new hires, terminations, promotions, raises, and employee files.
  • Bring overdue accounts within good standing and maintain these standings.
  • Maintain chart of accounts, expenses, and categorize all outgoing and incoming money.

• Relationship Management. Demonstrates the ability to lead and manage interactions with and between others with the specific goal of providing service and organizational success to assigned teams. Is visible, transparent, proactive and responsive to meeting the business needs of the assigned teams to ensure the working relationship is productive and successful.

  • Consultation. Must understand and demonstrate the art of providing direct guidance and coaching to assigned managers and leaders seeking advice on a variety of business or people-related situations.

• Organizational Leadership and Navigation. Responsible for leading major key change initiatives and project

  • Other Duties. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned throughout the course of employment not listed in the essential duties.


Qualifications

  • Strong implementation support skills, with the ability to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs.
  • Ability to operate computer systems, enterprise-wide software solutions; social media channels; telephone systems.
  • Experience in employment law and talent management.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations and conversations.
  • Engaging and approachable, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university
  • Eight plus years of related HR experience, specifically in management or as a generalist, including partnering with key managers of a division or business unit.
