Job Description

Huntington Park West is an association of independent homeowners over the age of 50. The Office Assistanat must be capable in Word and Excel for preparing our newsletter, calendar and announcements. Knowledge of Quick Books is a plus, to assist our manager. The ability to climb stairs is required because the duties include retrieving and delivering supplies and documents to the second floor. The Office Assistant also sets up tables and chairs for meetings of 5 to 50 people depending on the activity.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and setting up meeting rooms
  • Answer phones and greet residents with a positive attitude
  • Assist in preparation of monthly newsletter and weekly announcements
  • Order office supplies and provide inventory control system


Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
