As Senior Secretary you'll provide secretarial support to department personnel, and administrative support.

- Coordinates and organizes secretarial work flow for the department. Arranges meetings or classes. Coordinates meeting rooms, audio visual equipment and materials. Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Serves as a resource in assisting with software applications.
- Provides for and maintains department specific record keeping, logs, statistics or data bases. Maintains adequate office supply and equipment inventory. Ensures all office equipment is in good working order.
- Acts as the department paymaster, ensuring that time card is accurate and ready for review and submission. Maintains all department payroll logs, time card adjustments, etc Performs a wide variety of general and specific typing assignments and filing.
- Acts as the first point of contact for the department in regards to catering orders, doctors with lounge accounts, vendors, or other as assigned. Will take the first contact information and determine next steps or place orders per assigned process. Serves as primary administrative support for specified director and/or department managers. Anticipates needs and takes preliminary action. Works with calendars and scheduling to assist Director.
- Demonstrate competence in a variety of computer software.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to type 65 wpm.
- Three to five years secretarial experience.
