Job Description

National / Strategic Accounts Manager, GPO - Medical Device

Our client is a rapidly growing, emerging, vascular device company with a disruptive technology. Devices have distinct, clinical advantages over anything on the market and a strong economic position (reimbursement). Company has a great culture.


They are seeking and experienced Nation Accounts professional. (Tremendous opportunities for advancement.)


Responsibilities:

  • Must know how to drive business, by leveraging agreements (beyond contract negotiations and execution).
  • Overall involvement in general pricing strategies and programs.
  • Marketing and awareness creation campaigns through/within these groups.
  • Ongoing management of existing contracts.
  • Need for existing relationships and direct connections with GPO's.
  • Ownership of overall healthcare economics/trends/movement. Assisting with strategies and forward looking plans to be in front of change.
  • Top down, forwarding looking, proactive, offensive effort to drive additional business within GPO’s, IDN's and large systems.
  • National contract ownership with a focus at the GPO level.


Compensation:

Our client is offering a $125K base; $325K @plan with a 6 month guarantee. (NAM's averaging $380K); $1000/mo. car allowance; stock awards; employee stock purchase program; great benefits; etc.


Requirements:

  • Strong drive to succeed
  • Min 3 years GPO sales experience in Med Device or Biotech
  • Prefer candidates in TN, KY, IL MO, AR, MS, LA , TX, OK, KS.
