Requirements
The National Sales Manageris responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy plan to maximize Digital Power’s opportunities in the defense, industrial, medical and telecommunications in the US. The main goals of this position are to drive sales of our full suite of products and services in this target geography.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Engage with and develop regional partner ecosystem
  • Consistently meet sales activity metrics quarterly
  • Set and drive territory strategy for each territory team including the inside sales representatives and a solutions architect. Includes markets, customer types, technologies and product mix, short, medium and long range planning.
  • Respond to all sales leads within the required response time and work to solidify and close the sale. Report the results on a regular basis as defined.
  • Ascertain customer needs and through understanding, demonstrate product capabilities and how the product addresses these needs to the customer.
  • Manage accurate data within systems and use that data to drive territory direction and team behavior for increased growth.
  • Capture, understand and report on territory activities to sales management using tools such as Oracle NetSuite.
  • Own all aspects of territory development and management including but not limited to identifying and closing new accounts, growing existing accounts, customer visits and presentations, capitalizing on the sales aspects of strategic relationships, revenue forecasting.
Experience/Requirements
  • Working experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP/CRM, is preferred
  • BA/BS in Business or Engineering
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as consultative sales and negotiating skills are essential.
  • Self-starter, goal-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork
  • Power Electronic or Engineering background is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)
  • Capable to work independently or in a highly collaborative environment
  • Minimum 4 years sales experience in consultative technical sales (power electronic, systems, and solutions sales preferred)
