We are looking for a National Field Service Manager to join our dynamic team!
Preferred location: This is a remote position with up to 50% Travel required.
What you’ll do at Elekta:
As a National Brachy Service Delivery Manager, you must be customer focused, able to manage the National Brachy Service Delivery business, have technical knowledge of the equipment and mentor the Field Service Engineers. This position warrants the highest level of professional representation between the customer and the Company in all aspects of customer relations. It also requires support of projects, programs, and policies established by the Company.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare repair estimates and statements.
  • Active communications around service activities
  • Provide support and guidance for all field personnel
  • Transaction management, support of Sales and Service Sales.
  • Prepare capital and operating expense budgets.
  • Career development
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Assist Sales / Customer Service with technical advice.
  • Be the interface for all communication both to and from the field.
  • Parts inventory management (part sales where applicable).
  • Establish the technical service objectives and plans to achieve.
  • Manage efficient service delivery of Brachy Service
  • Demonstrate a strong team image with all peers, Field Service, Sales and Atlanta based teams.
  • Manage and direct the Brachy Field Service Engineers.
  • Ensure the timely issuance of technical service reports, timesheets, expense reports and the proper dissemination of information.
  • Ongoing performance feedback
  • Development of the Service and After-Sales business in the region.
  • Communicate the Company’s policies and needs to the regional group.
  • Annual evaluations and compensation planning
  • Monitor and evaluate the products of competitors.
  • Analyze and review the field service data and report on results of equipment and service problems.
  • Lead the National Brachy Service Engineer team demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
  • Follow all Elekta safety and regulatory policies. Ensure all managed staff are trained and follow the safety and regulatory policies.
  • Manage the utilization, overtime, and cost center for the Brachy Service team.
  • Maintain all Company-leased equipment, including Company automobile, parts, and tools.
  • Mentor Field Service Engineers including:
    • Ongoing performance feedback
    • Annual evaluations and compensation planning
    • Career development
    • Provide support and guidance for all field personnel
  • Coordinate installations, calibrations, and preventative maintenance activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business and/or Engineering.
  • Thorough knowledge of division products and services as well as customers’ needs.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Uphold the Elekta’s philosophy and all policies and procedures by maintaining appropriate controls to assure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of our organization.
  • Proven ability to organize, motivate, and direct people internally, and effectively represent the division in outside contacts.
  • Vendor Credentialing: Employee is required to comply with all customer vendor credentialing requirements and Elekta’s COVID-19 (U.S.) Vaccination Policy.

The US base salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000
