Job Description

Job Title: Microsoft Software Developer


Location: Remote


: Looking for a Microsoft Software developer with excellent skills in various Microsoft development tools including Microsoft SQL as well as Visual Basic. The consultant will work on teams inside a Tier 1 carrier directly impacting projects designed to automate portions of the design and engineering of transport circuits.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements for existing manual processes.
  • Using appropriate programming language; write code, complete programming and documentation, and perform testing and debugging of applications.
  • Use common DevOps tools to enhance application deployment performance (Ansible, Jenkins and Git)
  • Deal with tasks such as
  • As needed, interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Write code in PHP/Python and Microsoft SQL to extract and compile data from various databases.

o Data sanitization (for example from Excel / CSV datasets and SQL)

o API creation and testing

o Database Interactions

  • Support//Create microservices

o Includes microservices written in PHP, Node-Red (NodeJS/Javascript) and Python

o Work with / improve micro service tools

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years working as a Microsoft Software Developer
  • 5+ years working with PHP
  • Microsoft code language .NET C#, VB
  • Power BI
  • Previous experience working in Telecom projects
  • Blazor website full stack
  • Experience in provisioning, testing and troubleshooting core network elements.
  • Previous experience working on transport layer projects
  • Microsoft SQL Server Database queries
  • Proven project experience dealing with tasks such as:
  • 5+ years working with Microsoft SQL

o Data sanitization (for example from Excel / CSV datasets and Microsoft SQL)

o API creation and testing

o Database Interactions

Preferred Experience:

  • Snowflake
  • PowerShell scripting
  • 3+ years working with Python to automate database extraction and data manipulation
  • Palantir Foundry
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
