The Software Developer will be joining a dynamic team of developers who specialize in creating cloud-based solutions that help our clients solve complex population health challenges.
People.Health solutions support public health initiatives for the City of Detroit, the City of New York, the State of Michigan (MDHHS), US Department of Defense Health Agency, and many other local, state, and federal organizations that are responsible for managing the health of large populations.
Clients come to People.Health in need of robust, nimble solutions that promote data interoperability, operational efficiency, secure data collection, and improved communication with the populations that they serve.
We are looking for multiple team members who are comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment. Depending on your preferences and expertise, you will own the front-end, back-end, or full stack design and development of product features, building scale, efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences. If you are a Software Developer enthusiastic about building software solutions end-to-end, have strong development experience delivering at scale solutions, and systems design skills, this is the place for you.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science
● Have 1 - 5 years as a Software Developer
● 1+ years’ experience with: HTML, MongoDB or other No-SQL database experience, .NET, SQL, Python, Node.js, React.js, Express.js
● Have experience working with source code management tools in a shared code environment - GIT
● Strong written and oral communication skills.
● Ability to work under pressure within strict timelines
● Enthusiastic for technology, software, and data
● Must be a US Citizen
Primary Responsibilities
● Use various methodologies to develop technical solutions to challenging requirements with AWS, Google Cloud, HTML etc.
● Develop, maintain, and support programs/tools for clients
● Design, code, test, and document software
● Analyze performance, diagnose, and resolve bugs
● Provide support to clients, help/troubleshoot
Preferred Qualifications
● AWS Cloud experience/certification: RedShift, AWS Cloud Watch, AWS S3 Storage, AWS EC2 Instances, AWS Lambda, EC2
OR
● Google Cloud experience/certification: BigQuery, GCP Pub / Sub, GCP Cloud Functions, GCP AppEngine and application scaling, Cloud monitoring,
● Familiarity with Gitlab
● Python
● .NET
● React, AngularJS, Typescript
Other Requirements Due to the requirements of our government clients, background check and other similar security reviews are required.
