We are currently looking for a Software Developer - iGO to join our team.


As a Software Developer in the Professional Services department, you will be responsible for working closely with your project team to deliver against business requirements for your assigned customer(s).  The ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment through development, testing, and delivery is critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, be dedicated to detail and quality, and foster an open work environment.


Responsibilities


  • Participate in project planning and advise project team of all options to deliver business requirements most effectively
  • Control data in accordance with the organization and clients specific security policies
  • Plan and execute system tests and write complex code
  • Prepare charts, tables, and logic diagrams needed in development analysis
  • Generate development scripts in accordance with company protocol
  • Process analysis and workflow design to build efficient technical solutions
  • Suggest ideas for creating utilities and streamlining
  • Form complete descriptions of all specifications required
  • Take technical information and translate it so that all stakeholders understand the project
  • Effectively analyze technical requirements


Skills Requirements


  • Team player that fosters a highly collaborative, flexible, supportive and open environment
  • Knowledge of JavaScript to manipulate web pages
  • Strong communication skills to converse effectively with business analysts, project managers, customers and other involved stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment through development, testing and delivery
  • Analytical skills to efficiently comprehend requirements and make recommendations for process improvements
  • Attention to detail & quality
  • Experience with web applications and debuggers
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong programming and design skills
  • Ability to collaborate with both co-workers and customers in a demanding environment


Knowledge Requirements


  • Web services experience a plus
  • Interest in functional programming to meet business requirement
  • Understanding of relational database systems and a good working knowledge of SQL
  • Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
  • Software Management
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things (tools, techniques, processes, etc.)
  • Expertise with the Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Command of .NET, Javascript, C++ and VB.NET programming languages


Education And Experience


  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with VB.NET or other object orientated programming languages and SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Computer Sciences
