Our client, a leading Consumer goods company is looking for a Material Manufacturing Analyst in Beaverton, OR. Its 6 months of contract role to start with.
As Materials Manufacturing Analyst, you will drive and execute materials excellence with vendors from material development through production and delivery. You will act as the primary resource for vendor communication, management and issue resolution.
Top Skills: Strong Analytical Skills, Strong Communication Skills (Oral and Written), and Apparel/Textile Industry Experience.
Responsibilities:
• You'll execute against Materials Manufacturing priorities. With your vendors, you will drive strong performance around costing, on-time delivery, quality and sustainability. You will drive resolution as issues arise. And, you will support sustainability inititatives and the implementation of seasonal and long-term projects.
• Your typical day/week will include a variety of meetings with your vendors, the regional Materials Manufacturing team, and other cross-functional partners focused on weekly and seasonal priorities. You will shift focus to support critical initiatives. The Materials Manufacturing team will focus on delivering the goals for the season at hand and also driving toward longer term priorities.
Experiences
- Specific technical knowledge and experience in apparel or accessories (textile, trim, packaging, garment) manufacturing and supply chain is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years relevant materials work experience (supply chain, product, or manufacturing).
- Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation & presentations.
- Excellent project and time management skills: meeting deadlines in development and production.
- Strong influencing skills & ability to collaborate and drive change with various partners cross-functionally.
