Job Summary: The Technical Operations Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure of the organization. This individual will work in the Operations Control Center to ensure smooth and efficient operations, while identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise.
They will monitor power, network, production systems such as hash rate, data sets, ML, and AI workloads.
They will support the sites in improving production rates and machine online times, help with curtailments, and track project statuses and priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure alignment of technical infrastructure with business needs and goals.
- Monitor the technical infrastructure of the organization, including servers, storage, networks, applications, and databases.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and provide recommendations for improving system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide occasional technical support to end users, with simple issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, incident reports, and system diagrams.
- Conduct regular system health checks and identify areas for optimization or improvement.
- Provide technical support for projects, including hardware and software deployments, system upgrades, and migrations.
- Perform routine maintenance activities, including system backups, updates, and security patches.
- Respond to technical incidents, troubleshoot issues, and restore service to normal operating conditions. Escalate when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with system maintenance activities, such as backups, updates, and security patches.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical operations or IT Analyst role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Experience with troubleshooting technical incidents and restoring service to normal operating conditions.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level technical infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, applications, and databases.
