Manufacturing Worker Jobs

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Worker is responsible for assembling, brazing, wiring and installing sub-assembly components on commercial HVAC products. A majority of work will be traditional assembly line fashion while working as a team. This method allows duties to be completed in a safe and timely manner in accordance with relevant codes and quality standards.

Essential Job Functions

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities that are expected of a Manufacturing Worker 1 (MW1):

• Use power and hand tools safely.
• Check quality of parts and work to ensure it meets engineering standards.
• Work cooperatively with others
• Maintain 6-S Standards in work area.
• Rotate through multiple stations as directed
• Comply with all policies, rules and practices, both written and oral
• Work a variable work schedule &/or overtime as assigned
• Interpret blue prints, drawings, specifications, work orders and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
• Meet production and target quotas
• Collect, order and account for all parts needed for assembly.
• Assemble, braze, wire and install sub-assembly components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
• Perform assigned work in a skillful, efficient manner to satisfy safety, quality and production requirements.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on job tasks.
• Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy

Minimum Required Qualifications

An individual in this position must have the following minimum required qualifications. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development activities:
