Job Description
Mane is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Brand and Product Marketing to join our dynamic team. As the Director of Brand and Product Marketing, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and product adoption. You will oversee all brand and product marketing activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing and eCommerce, you will be a key leader in shaping the brand's identity and driving its growth.


Your Role:


  • Product education: Partner across departments (ex: product development, creative, retail) to ensure product value benefits and key messaging points are being communicated clearly and consistently across channels.
  • Performance measurement and reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, product adoption, and brand metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to the SVP of Marketing and eCommerce, using data to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage content creation: Partner with the integrated marketing team to drive content creation through both in-house and external resources. Ensure that content reflects accurate product education, brand's tone, voice, and values, while driving audience engagement and loyalty.
  • Campaign development and execution: Conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and product adoption. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop impactful creative assets, including digital content, social media campaigns, and traditional marketing materials.
  • Brand and product strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive brand and product marketing strategies aligned with Mane's brand objectives and business goals. Identify market opportunities, target segments, and key differentiators to drive brand growth and maximize product adoption.
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences. Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies, optimize campaign performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of brand and product marketing efforts. Foster strong relationships and collaborate on initiatives that drive overall brand growth.
  • Brand positioning and messaging: Define and maintain consistent brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints. Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling brand narratives that resonate with the target audience, reflecting Mane's values and unique selling points.


Requirements


  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand positioning, messaging, and campaign development.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Proven experience in a senior brand and product marketing role, preferably within the beauty or consumer products industry. Experience with a haircare brand is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive marketing decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
