FOX Sports is seeking a Manager, College Football & Special Projects to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This role will directly support the VP, Brand Marketing, and the brand marketing lead specifically for Big Noon Kickoff. This manager will primarily focus on the in-market promotion and onsite fan experience of the Big Noon Kickoff broadcast. The manager will need to travel to 6-8 college campuses this season.


This versatile marketing manager will collaborate on the development and execution of multi-platform promotional tactics to drive brand awareness and attendance at the Big Nook Kickoff set at college campuses.


In the off-season, this position will sustain marketing efforts, promotional partnerships, long-lead pre-planning, and post-event evaluation and reporting for BNK. This role will also work on special projects relevant to the mission of the brand marketing group, ranging from researching and disseminating new innovations in sports, entertainment, and marketing, to showcasing campaign strategies, materials, and success stories within the department, company, and beyond.


a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities


  • Manage relationships and processes with key internal departments (on-air creative, programming, digital/social, PR, sales, research, distribution partners, affiliate stations, FOX Deportes) for day-to-day operations and long-range planning
  • Work with the Media team on local media efforts
  • Strong working partnership with onsite manager to execute pre-identified tactics while on-site
  • Establish strong and collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners
  • Creative working status report and updates that serve for cross-functional teams
  • Troubleshoot, direct in-market adjustments, and liaise with leadership
  • Design and develop materials, programs, and presentations to inform and promote ideas, activations, stunts, etc.
  • Create, collaborate, and contribute to social media efforts with onsite social producer
  • Provide detailed performance analysis of all marketing plans and initiatives pre/post event
  • Research best practices within the college marketplace
  • Manage and support onsite marketing activations and fan experiences
  • Work with production on production logistics and timelines supporting live-action / needs during broadcast
  • Organize and contribute to weekly planning meetings with cross-functional teams (Media, Programming, Production, Affiliate) to ensure alignment on plans and initiatives

  • Oversight of agency operations and relationships, coordination with production, and point of contact to all universities


What You Will Need


  • Solid organizational and project management skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $73,000.00-98,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
