Job Description

My team is working with a creative and strategic transformation partner for purpose-led organizations. We are searching for a Managing Director for Brand Strategy and Business strategies.


The preferred candidate will have 5+ recent experience from Brand/Digital/Design agencies and a background as a Brand Strategist and an Account/Client Manager


Responsibilities of the MD:


1. Promote and deliver a purpose-led approach to business transformation

  • Identify opportunities, partnerships and clients that are purpose-driven


2. Develop and lead a team of multi-disciplinary strategists and writers

  • Develop the Business/Brand team, ensuring diverse representation across multiple dimensions


3. Manage P&L, drive new business efforts and grow revenue

  • Client Services/Account management experience
  • Selling agency solutions to clients
  • Winning new logos


4. Develop IP, thought leadership and marketing


5. Lead company and brand projects that drive positive impacts for clients



Your background:


  • Won new client relationships and brought into your business
  • Record of purpose-led or oriented work, transformation, social innovation and impact strategy
  • 10-15 years working within brand strategy, innovation, or social impact spaces
  • Brand Design/Innovation agency experience is required
  • Growth of a agency practice or client portfolio, developing teams and selling and brand ($5-10MM+)
  • Led impactful, innovative work at the intersection of business and brand strategy, design, and innovation
  • Developed new business opportunities and grown revenues within an existing client base
