POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator partners with the Operations Director to operate the KidStrong Equipment warehouse and partners with the Development Specialists in the opening phase across US and Canada to ensure equipment delivery milestones are met, product portfolio continues to evolve and expand, product replacement plans occur, and financial objectives for KidStrong Equipment are met. This position plays a critical role with franchise owners as well as acting as a liaison between New Center Operations, corporate accounting, and key suppliers during the New Center Opening process. This position will operate as part of the NCO process monitoring all Equipment critical path milestones and managing supplier timelines, logistics, adherence to project timelines, attainment of as well as providing subject matter expertise for Director, NCO and NCO Development Specialists.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists Operations Director in managing all warehouse activities including, but not limited to…
• Support Director, NCO and NCO Development Specialists on calls and communications and act as “resident expert” on equipment when necessary.
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Basic customer service related activities
• Light assembly of various products
• Monitor key delivery gates, supplier commitments, lead times, delivery/logistics to ensure overall NCO milestones are met through proactive management.
• Assists with demand forecasts in conjunction with the Operations Director and with key suppliers to ensure timelines are met and tasks are completed as needed to support NCO milestones–examples include, working with AD’s on Equipment installations and equipment suppliers.
• Communicate Equipment Readiness milestones to Development Specialists ADs and “own” attainment of those milestones as part of the overall NCO playbook.
• Participate in NCO internal and AD facing calls and communications for equipment and warranty claims.
• Inform leadership on areas of concern and suggested actions to achieve equipment milestones during NCO Phases.
• Provide thoughtful leadership/solutions to reduce bottlenecks, manage inventory/logistics, and ensure success of franchise partners in Equipment related activities.
• Picking, packing, shipping activities
• Responsible for coordinating shipments of all equipment and fixtures needed to open a KidStrong Center at the planned opening date as well as clear communication with the customer/area developer at each step in the ordering and fulfillment process.
• Receiving and inspecting returns and authorizing replacement parts
• Managing move from old warehouse space to new space
• Some forklift operation (license/certification a bonus)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to monitor Equipment milestones across up to 25 concurrent NCO work plans and drive action among ADs, suppliers and operations as needed for successful launch and stabilization
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate with customers (ADs) confidently/clearly and inspire confidence
• Monitor and manage inventory levels and work aggressively to reduce delivery lead times from suppliers
• Manage suppliers, including logistics providers toward agreed upon standards for on-time delivery and quality

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Forklift certified a bonus!
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of logistics and growing equipment vendor partnerships needed for successful new center/new store opening.
