What you’ll do…

The Logistics coordinator reports to the Warehouse manager and will primarily focus on coordinating the movement of material to and from the manufacturing facility. Additional duties will include assisting in various warehouse operations. This position will be in office at our manufacturing facility in Cypress, Texas.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Fulfill requests for shipment POD’s.
• Organize and facilitate workflow to ensure a productive workplace.
• Enter Purchase Requests for carrier loads.
• Coordinate logistics communications between warehouse and freight carriers.
• Execute daily processes in ERP system to assist warehouse shipping and receiving.
• File paperwork daily.
• Operate office machinery such as computers, photocopiers, and printers; perform light maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Create or modify work orders and sales orders when needed.
• Backup purchasing and warehouse personnel when needed.
• Dock scheduling.
• Track and analyze mis-shipments to ensure they don’t reoccur.
• Coordinate external and intercompany requests for shipping and receiving documents.
• Monitor and direct incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail for pickup.
• Tracking of expected shipments.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:

• Five (5) years’ experience working with ERP software.
• Operate office machinery such as computers, photocopiers, and printers; perform light maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Three (3) years’ logistics coordinator or customer service experience.

What you’ll need:

• Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office and/or warehouse setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry 20 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
• Backup purchasing and warehouse personnel when needed.
• Strong MS Office experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High School diploma.
