Position Summary
The Learning Management System [and Curricula Development Program] Administrator has a key role in the development and growth of the training program at Kubota. The primary role for the incumbent will be management of the LMS, beginning at KMA and KIE locations. They will also assist with the planning, development, and implementation of various curriculum programs such as certifications, competency skills, and leadership development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Initially oversee the evaluation and selection of the LMS for the factories at KMA and KIE.
- Oversee, guide, and support other LMS site administrators responsible for individual domains and locations.
- Install and establish the LMS for KMA/KIE including domains for each, and planning for additional domains in North America, with a global vision.
- Manage the LMS daily activities including domain rules, system roles and responsibilities, student population, curricula offerings, and licensing requirements.
- Performs special tasks as requested and related tasks as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of various training programs and learning paths such as leadership development, skill development, and onboarding.
- Provide reporting and KPI analysis on the LMS performance and student data.
- Assist with the search for, evaluation of, and implementation of web-based training curriculums for competency and compliance development.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with others.
- Proficient in MS Office Products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others through strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to analyze data and present findings.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Understanding of training and/or learning & development department organizations and functionality.
- Prior experience with learning management system's oversight and structure.

Travel requirements: travel between KMA/KIE locations as needed (weekly), rare overnight travel to other Kubota locations.

In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
