As an IT Asset Management Lead at United Rentals, you will lead the warehouse & repair deployment teams. You’ll lead the warehouse team’s day-to-day warehouse operations and resolve escalated user problems. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of IT Asset related servers and systems.

Additional duties include the following:
- Promote a positive and professional culture to bring out the best performance and morale of team members, and co-workers
- Provide input to the Supervisor of IT Support on the performance of warehouse team members and relay coaching and feedback to other warehouse team members as directed by the Supervisor of IT Support
- Measure, and report metrics on day-to-day warehouse & repair deployment activities
- Coordinate third-party repair and onsite technical support
- Cross-train staff as appropriate to maximize utilization and ensure appropriate coverage to meet goals
- Approve or deny asset orders based IT asset policies
- Monitor tickets and Customer Satisfaction surveys, conducting audits for service, resolution, details and accuracy
- Other duties assigned as needed
- Ensure part orders and hardware repairs are promptly completed as applicable
- Identify process improvements and recommend adjustments in staffing levels and workloads
- Create and maintain knowledge articles related to Asset Management and Repair & Redeployment processes for use by Support
- Oversee device refresh of assets and their return to the Asset Management Depot (AMD)
- Coordinate new user access
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lead the daily operations of an IT warehouse team
- High School diploma required or equivalent work experience; Bachelor Degree preferred
- 3+ years’ experience required in similar field
- Demonstrate strong level of internal (company) customer service in interactions with field, other corporate departments and external customer service (if applicable)
- Ability to monitor and coordinate the work of several team members
- Can juggle multiple priorities and/or tasks at one time without sacrificing quality
- Work well collaboratively within own group and cross functionally to achieve goals. Can be counted on to fulfill own responsibilities within the team and is willing to help in other areas when necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Instill and ensure a safe-working environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Work with various people/resources and lead by example to accomplish a goal
