Job Description

ASSET MANAGEMENT AND ACQUISTIONS ANALYST


Ascent Real Estate Capital is seeking a motivated individual to join its dynamic, Charlotte-based firm.The role will primarily focus on supporting principals in acquisition underwriting and asset management of the company’s portfolio. Ascent’s portfolio primarily consists of commercial and multifamily properties.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with property management to establish budgets and direct asset performance
  • Assist in investor reporting
  • Assist in identifying potential acquisitions and new land positions for development
  • Help prepare investor memorandums related to potential investments
  • Maintain financial results for individual assets
  • Oversee tenant upfits
  • Oversee capital improvement projects - including bidding, hiring, and directing general contractors


This is a unique opportunity to work closely with an entrepreneurial team in a variety of different real estate focused capacities. Strong interpersonal skills, excel modeling abilities, and willingness to learn are key requirements of this position. Excellent verbal and written communication are also essential.


Minimum of 2 years of real estate asset management, property management, and/or transaction experience preferred.
