Asset Management Analyst Jobs

Job Summary:

Part of the Asset Management team, the Asset Management Analyst plays an important role in analyzing property-level transactions including operations data, financial data, and leasing activity. The person will also be involved in certain acquisition, auditing, and due diligence processes.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the monthly reviews of operating reports and financial reports.
• Responsible for engaging, starting initial negotiations, and managing third-party vendors when acquiring new assets and maintaining current ones.
• Provides support for asset managers in all types of data analysis including but not limited to financial analysis, property management operations analysis, and acquisition/disposition analysis.
• Assists in Preparing correspondence to tenants, owners, investors, partners, and lenders as needed.
• Responsible for Reviewing Market and Submarket Data and benchmarking across the portfolio
• Responsible for managing asset management files, contracts, and records.
• Provides assistance in the review and analysis of operator provided annual budgets, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and revenue assumptions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (mathematical, science, business, economics, finance degree preferred).
• Must be highly skilled in excel and data analytics.
• 0-2+ years of real estate or any type of financial analysis experience is preferred (internships included).

Preferred Experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently while also working well in a group setting.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently present information and interface with company leadership.
• Documented knowledge of financial cash flow modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
