Primarily Remote with some on site meetings and work activities expected as determined by needs of the project. Contractor is responsible for any travel expenses to be on-site. Travel time would not be considered work time
So will need to be able to get to Davis, CA periodically.
Information & Educational Technology (IET) has a need for (1) Project Manager
Information & Educational Technology (IET) at UC Davis has a need for (1) Project Manager for a large-scale phone migration project. The project includes the migration of over 10,000 telephone lines into two new environments: a new Zoom Phone environment, and a new Cisco Call Manager environment.
Project Manager

• Primarily Remote with some on site meetings and work activities expected as determined by needs of the project. Contractor is responsible for any travel expenses to be on-site. Travel time would not be considered work time.
• In State referrals only
• Background check is required
• Start Date: 2 weeks from job offer
• Not open to visa holders, including but not limited to TN, H4, H1B or EAD.
• Full Time, Exempt
• Duration: 1 year
• Interviews to be conducted via Zoom and/or by phone

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
At Least 5 Years' Experience As PRIMARY, LEAD, OR SOLO Project Manager On Large, Complex, Enterprise-level IT Projects Through Full Life Cycle That Included
Developing and managing highly detailed technical project schedules
Identifying, evaluating & escalating, and actively managing project risks
Developing and managing clear, concise project communications, including status reporting and stakeholder communications
Coordinating work with multiple vendors to ensure alignment on expectations, priorities, and milestones
Building and managing strong customer/client relationships that support and encourage open bi-directional communication
Preferred Qualifications
Experience planning and managing complex, enterprise-level telecommunications projects
Superior communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and diverse stakeholder groups with
tact and diplomacy
Experience in higher education
Experience as a project manager in a PMO
Bachelor's degree in science or technical discipline, with an emphasis in technology management or
information management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PMP Certification, Scrum Master Certification, and/or ITIL Certification
