Network Administrator (Hybrid/Onsite)

We have an immediate need for a Junior/Intermediate Network Administrator to join a leading materials distributor. The Network Administrator shares responsibility for the operational support of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) including both wired and wireless, eFax, and VoIP networks.

Location: This individual can work out of our Lancaster, PA or Farmingdale, NY office. Must be able work onsite 4 days per week

This Job Pays: $75,000 – 85,000 annually

What You Will Do:

• Monitor Network related ticket and respond to it or escalate it.
• Support Switches, Access Point and other physical hardware
• Configure and Support VOIP and eFax
• Work with end users for any Network, VoIP or eFax related issues
• Communicating networking issues to other engineer and management
• Call store managers for scheduling maintenance or hardware change
• Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems
• Support LAN and WAN (SD-WAN)
• Monitoring Network for any outages, slowness on networks using monitoring tool and respond to it
• Support Internet Circuits Outages

What Gets You The Job:

• 2-5 years of experience with Network Administration.
• Open to learn and adapt new technologies.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Experience working with Network Switches, Access point
• Fundamental Knowledge of Network Protocol
• CCNA, Network + Certificate is preferred but not required.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience working with Cloud Hosted VoIP and eFax
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with Telco to open ticket and get support.
