Position: Network Administrator

Location: 100% Remote (located in US)

Duration: Perm/Direct Hire

Shift Options: (The ideal candidate is flexible and open to multiple options)

  • Shift 2: 5pm-5am Sun - Tues, Wed 5pm-9pm EST
  • Shift 3: 1am-5am Wed, 5pm-5am EST Thurs-Sat
  • Shift 1: 7am-2pm EST Tues-Sat
  • Shift 4: 3pm-11pm EST Tues-Sat


Must Haves:

·3-5 years of experience with network administration

·Experience with CISCO, OSI model (layer 1-4), LAN, WAN, firewalls, TCP/IP, UDP

·Self starter, go getter mentality

Plusses:

·Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, DNS

Day-To-Day

An employer is looking for a remote Network Administrator to support a data center company. This team will be the tier 2 and 3 escalation point for the customer support center. They will be responsible for troubleshooting layer 1-4 issues. They will troubleshoot with local Telco Providers, customers and coordinate maintenances with customers to resolve issues.
