Instructional Content Manager Jobs

Ellevation is growing, and we’re looking for an Instructional Content Manager to join our Education Solutions team. Bringing your knowledge of - and passion for - instructional best practice for teachers of linguistically diverse learners, you'll be responsible for authoring and revising content for professional learning resources for educators using Ellevation Strategies. And most importantly, you will help Ellevation make a direct impact on how language learners succeed in classrooms around the world.

Responsibilities

• Align module content to and embed ELP standards and policy application
• Responsible for writing articles and creating video storyboards about language acquisition and high-quality instruction for multilingual learners
• Ensure quality and consistency across all instructional strategies content
• Maintain efficacious instructional design within and across module catalog
• Learn how to load completed content into our content management system

Impact

• 12 months: Take ownership of the pace of high-quality content production with Ellevation Strategies. Drive efficiency with asset management.
• 1 month: Build background knowledge and perspective on the content within Ellevation Strategies. Learn about our customers and regional segmentation and needs. Develop rapport with key stakeholders and team members.
• 6 months: Drive project management and delivery of content on or ahead of deadlines. Demonstrate expertise in our documentation systems. Establish avenues of effective customer feedback.
• 3 months: Contribute to the instructional design and authoring of the content within Ellevation Strategies. Review existing specs and shape areas for evolution.

About You

• You are a strong listener with solid pattern recognition skills
• You are a confident, strong writer that can adjust based on the audience
• You are comfortable with project management solutions and GSuite collaboration
• You have 7+ experience in the K-12 MLL education space and are are deeply knowledgeable in national MLL research and policy
• You possess an ability and comfort with giving and receiving feedback - both about work produced and working styles
• You are experimental and curious; you love to test ideas, learn quickly, and iterate
• You establish rapport and trust quickly with others
• You have 3+ years of proven editorial experience

$100,000 - $120,000 a year

Ellevation is transparent about its approach to pay which includes competitive base salary, annual performance-based raise, and bonus (or commission for sales positions). The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 with a 10% annual bonus potential and the budgeted target is the midpoint, commensurate with candidate experience and internal parity. Our philosophy is that the full range is indicative of growth during employment. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits to all full-time employees.
