Instructional Designer, Business Systems And Process (Contract)

Amplify’s Training & Enablement team is seeking an Instructional Designer, Business Systems and Process to design online courses, job aids, supplemental multimedia resources, and train-the-trainer resources for our internal, customer-facing staff. This role will report to the Training Manager, Business Systems and Internal Process.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about lifelong learning and is skilled in translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand learning content for non-technical audiences. This is a contract role.
Responsibilities

• Develop online courses and microlearning opportunities in Amplify’s learning management system
• Build assessments that gauge if critical skills and competencies are met
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on learning material design and development
• Develop and track project plans for instructional design and training deliverables
• Analyze assessment data and recommend follow-up steps
• Facilitate engaging virtual training sessions using Zoom
• Act as a learning consultant to a business unit by identifying gaps and recommending learning solutions
• Apply current instructional design theory and adult learning best practices to create effective learning content
• Create, edit, and publish multimedia learning resources including video demonstrations, process guides, and audio voiceover

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with learning management systems
• Familiarity with and/or experience working on a customer-facing team (i.e. Sales, Customer Support, Customer Success, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
• Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, and other business applications
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design or related field
• Ability to understand, learn, and translate technical information into easy-to-understand content
• 1-3 years of instructional design experience for adult learners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with authoring tools like Adobe Captivate
• Advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, and other business applications
• Experience working in an Educational Technology company and creating content within a LMS
• Experience with process mapping

Compensation
The hourly rate range for this role is $40-$45.
