Job Description
Purpose of the Position


The Senior Content Producer will be an all-around creator and producer, leading projects from conceptualization through final delivery. They will possess the ability to find new ways to present brand and customer stories to develop community. They will orchestrate production on everything from quick-turn social media videos to a 5-minute profile piece. They will also be primarily responsible for the execution of content experiences across our digital channels to drive discovery, awareness, audience engagement, and customer acquisition.


The Senior Content Producer reports to the Associate Creative Director, Content.


UMA is a nonprofit healthcare educational institution with a national presence. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida and founded in 1994, UMA offers content-rich, interactive online programs as well as hands-on training at our Clearwater, Florida campus.

Key Responsibilities


Functional


  • Leading video, talent, and management teams on-set & location for a variety of project types including, but not limited to social & digital content, B2B marketing content optimized for discovery, and experiential & event capture
  • Analyze performance of content and craft reporting strategy, developing weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports and communicate this analysis and findings to relevant internal groups
  • Audit existing content and create a roadmap for resolving issues and developing net-new content optimized for search / web
  • Creation of digital content (Motion Graphics, Podcast, social media, Infographics, etc) as defined by the Creative and Marketing teams
  • Manage project statements of work, estimates, and related parameters
  • Proactively identify impediments before they arise, finding solutions and efficiencies while elevating creative output
  • Handle shoot preparation and post-production (brief, shoot, edit, animation, casting, etc.) of short-form video content
  • Develop and continually manage project timelines and budgets, as well as annual projections for content needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Manage external vendors as needed
  • Creation and delivery of video content across a range of formats, lengths, and platforms including organic, paid social, and web to drive awareness, engagement, and community growth aligned with overall digital & brand strategy, tone, and voice
  • Build cross-functional relationships with internal marketing teams


Support Institutional Initiatives


  • Manages and assists in coordinating efforts between departments within UMA.
  • Keep current on institutional goals, objectives, and progress.
  • Lead with courage in support of change initiatives that impact organization.
  • Engage in institutional sponsored activities and initiatives as appropriate.


Work Experience, Skills & Abilities


Minimum Requirements


  • Demonstrated understanding of YouTube and social video best practices
  • Experience in field production, post-production, live experience, and working with talent on camera
  • Ability to accept and implement feedback, as well as share constructive feedback with the team
  • Knowledgeable in the Education / Post Secondary industry
  • Minimum one-year experience working in a virtual environment
  • Able to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Able to professionally communicate in verbal and written English.
  • Experience producing other content elements (Podcast, Motion Graphics, Infographics, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Skype and Microsoft Teams
  • High School diploma
  • Experience producing video shoots in studio and on location, across different lighting and equipment set-ups with an exceptional eye for visual elements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working across various functional groups such as HR, IT, Sales, Finance, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong portfolio/reel of various types of video and digital content work, explicit documentation of role in each project
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of creative production experience in a deadline-driven environment and a well-rounded list of credits and clips, demonstrating experience in both traditional and digital content landscapes with a focus on branded content and short-form storytelling

Working Environment


  • Up to 10% of travel required - Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Full-time remote position

  • Requires occasional bending, stooping, and squatting.
  • Requires occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
