Overview:

Client is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to manage client’s large complex infrastructure & IT security projects and/or programs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leadingglobalIT infrastructureprojectsthat is not located on site, ability to interact with senior level executives, have strong command skills, and confidently address issues and communicate solutions. This project manager will be charged withmanaging infrastructure, networking, cyber security, operations, IT refreshes or migrations at data centers and company sites. The role/candidate would also need to be quite capable of managing project intake, prioritization, and personnel/resource allocation across these functions (i.e. infrastructure, operations, networking, cyber security).Additionally,this position is looking for an infrastructure PM that has an operations background and ITIL experience. Project Managers areresponsible for driving engagements forward and ensuring projects progress as planned and uninterrupted by comprehensive oversight and control of project activities and timelines.

Requirements:

1. Must have 5-7+years ofInfrastructure Project Management experince in one of the following areas(DeploymentsofNetwork, IT refreshes or migrations of Data Center(DC), Storage, Securityexperience project including :

• Resouricng
• Creates a structure and organization for the management of a complex environment with emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency.
• Ensures that the project plan maintains tasks, schedules, estimates, and status, and disseminates information to team members and customers.
• Providing weekly updates/summaries as to progress and roadblocks
• Directs corrective actions in any area where performance falls below objectives.
• Manage and drive resolution on project slippage and scope creep
• Drive day-to-day projects schedule(s), responsible for;
• Provides overall direction to the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of a project. Exercises management responsibility over the achievement of performance, revenue, and profit objectives of a project and its contracts.
• Arranges for the assignment of responsibility to other supporting facilities, business areas, and support functions, and monitors their performance.
• Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• QA deliverables (request/make modifications as needed)

1. Must have previous experience managing & executingproject plan: Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.

• Monitor and control project work: Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
• Manage changes to project scope:Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance.
• Communicate project plan: Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
