As Our HR & Recruiting Generalist You Will
Report to our Director of People and Culture
Be the go-to person for recruitment, core HR processes, and benefits administration for our 100+ employees:
Key responsibilities for Recruitment-
  • Coordinate on-boarding for new employees.
  • Screen selected candidates and coordinates interview process.
  • Batch resumes for hiring manager review.
  • Extend verbal and written job offers to approved applicants.
  • Provide and assist new employees with the completion of on-boarding forms.
  • Manage reference and background checks.
  • Collaboration with hiring managers, to create and post open positions.
Key responsibilities for HR-
  • Provide a conduit for employee suggestions.
  • Keep information on the Employee Portal current.
  • First point of contact for HR-related questions and concerns – coordinates resolution or directs to appropriate resources.
  • Maintains, audit, and update personnel files and database.
  • Provide tracking and follow up for annual performance evaluations.
  • Provide tracking of all training programs and use thereof.
  • Work with company leadership to address their people and workforce needs.
  • Processes termination checklist, paperwork, and off-boarding.
  • Support the employee communication program.
  • Support employee events.
Key Responsibilities For Benefits-
  • Enroll and terminate employees in benefit plans.
  • Provide information and support to employees regarding their benefit plans and answer employee questions regarding company benefits.
  • Support Finance and external broker with annual Open Enrollment, plan selection, communication, and enrollment.
To Be The HR Generalist You Will Need
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment and to interact effectively in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A love for helping people and creating a great place to work
  • A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality
  • 3+ year(s) human resources generalist experience
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
  • Strong project management skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • And a PHR will put you ahead of the competition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Talent and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities change often
  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
