Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative and enthusiastic Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. As our HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in providing support across all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and employee relations to benefits administration and performance management. Reporting to our Director of Operations, you'll closely collaborate with our legal and operations departments, ensuring a positive and rewarding employee experience. Plus, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid remote working arrangement, spending two days a week in our inviting office.
Key Responsibilities
Offer expert advice to key stakeholders on employee relations, leave management, policies, and benefits.
Drive the recruitment and selection process, posting job vacancies, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
Create a warm welcome for new hires through comprehensive orientation and onboarding.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, fostering a harmonious work environment.
Manage our employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision insurance, Simple IRA plans, and wellness initiatives.
Engage employees with compelling training and development programs, supporting their growth and career advancement.
Keep our HRIS system up-to-date and maintain meticulous employee records.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance employee success.
Stay connected and grow professionally through involvement with esteemed associations like SHRM and ALA.
Actively participate in exciting HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A proven track record of at least 3 years in Human Resources.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creating an atmosphere of openness and collaboration.
Masterful organizational and time management abilities to keep things running smoothly.
An innate sense of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
A true team player who can also thrive independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and HRIS systems.
A keen eye for judgment when it comes to HR policies, employment law, and government compliance regulations.
