Job Description
Are you energetic, detail oriented & love everything HR? All Roads Company, with 1000 employees across almost 50 locations in 11 states is searching for an onsite HR Generalist to join our team in Dundalk, MD! This is a fast-paced environment where you can make an immediate impact! You will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, employee relations, OSHA, auto accidents/workman's comp, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years prior experience, excellent Excel skills and a PHR or SHRM-CP.

  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Performs positive and timely customer service functions by answering employee requests, questions and proactively finding solutions. Paycor experience helpful
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Monthly benefit invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks and entry in HRIS systems.
  • Reports, maintains and monitors all workers’ compensation case files.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations at the direction of the HR Director. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper withholdings.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Flexible start time within regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
