Human Resources Manager Jobs

The Human Resources Manager provides consultation and support to managers and employees relating to employee matters, working closely with both to foster strong work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention .

Essential Job Functions :

• Maintain knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws to ensure organizational compliance.
• Support implementation of various initiatives in support of HR strategic plan
• Act as a liaison between management and employees to quickly resolve employee relations issues preventing escalation and potential risk and liability
• Utilize HRIS functionality to provide system support to all assigned employees. Review and approve employee status changes in HRIS
• Assist with collecting and analyzing people related metrics and trends, providing insight and counsel to leadership
• Provide HR expertise and guidance to managers and employees regarding employee matters , working closely with both to foster strong work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
• Serve as the point of contact for employee inquires on a variety of topics to include benefits, employee status changes, onboarding and exiting, and policy interpretation
• Provide performance management guidance to management
• C onduct thorough and objective investigations when appropriate . Document complaints, review and participate in corrective actions , give guidance in accordance with company policies and guidelines, reviewing with legal counsel when necessary

Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to make decisions and operate independently, without Supervision, with respect to complex issues and business requirements with a high degree of exposure
• 2+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist or similar experience
• Familiarity with Human Resources Systems such as Ceridian and Oracle HCM, preferred
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to write and communicate concisely and clearly with persuasion and succinct styles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change with new systems and methods while working in a team environment
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP c ertification preferred
• Bachelor's Degr ee in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
• Occasional travel required
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office S uite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic HR governance (e.g. employee relations, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, employment law/regulations, etc.)
• Employee or l abor relations experience required
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Salary Range: $68,300-$91,000
