Robert Half is looking for a motivated candidate to join an HR team as a Human Resources Assistant in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry. This self-starting Human Resources Assistant will be in charge of a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This long-term contract / temporary opportunity is with an organization in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry and is based in the Stockton, California area.
What you get to do every single day

• Review the internet to locate potential customers
• Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
• Be in charge of administrative and office responsibilities
• Update employee database information

Requirements

• Administrative Assistance experience
• Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment
• Administrative Office experience
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
• Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
• Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Word
