Your Role As a Human Resources Generalist
Under the supportive guidance of our Director of Human Resources (HR), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the HR department. Your responsibilities will span across various human resource plans and procedures, including recruitment, wellness initiatives, employee engagement efforts, benefits administration, and other vital aspects of HR management.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Manage talent acquisition and recruitment, from attending career fairs to posting job openings and supporting managers with the offer process.
Coordinate seamless new-hire onboarding, collaborating with different departments to create an exceptional first-day experience.
Conduct engaging new employee orientations to foster a sense of belonging from the start.
Administer all administrative tasks related to onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews, efficiently using our human resources information systems (HRIS).
Utilize and train employees and managers on self-service capabilities, harnessing the power of ADP Workforce Now to streamline administrative tasks.
Maintain HRIS records and compile reports as needed, leveraging insightful HR metrics for continuous improvement.
Provide assistance with the performance evaluation program and engage in employee relations counseling and disciplinary processes.
Administer benefits, including new hire and open enrollment, invoice approval, and effective communication of benefit information to employees.
Collaborate on the implementation and management of our employee Career Pathways program.
Support finance in bi-weekly payroll processing and ensure timely payments for reimbursements, employment data, and time off approvals.
Contribute to the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of our employee handbook and HR policies, actively participating in policy development.
Help evaluate department reports, decisions, and results against established goals, offering innovative suggestions for improvements.
Manage impactful employee wellness programming, encouraging participation in initiatives and resources provided by insurance carriers.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive work environment and enhancing employee morale.
Collaborate with the Director of HR on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.
Support in-house privileging and credentialing in compliance with HRSA and other regulatory advisories.
Coordinate and maintain accurate records related to new employee orientation and employee training activities.
Maintain confidentiality in all personnel matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
Uphold strict adherence to the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to safeguard protected patient health information.

Qualifications
Education in Human Resources achieved through an HR Certificate program or Bachelor's Degree program (required).
Proven experience in Human Resources, with prior experience in healthcare Human Resources being a plus.
Familiarity with general human resources policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience With ADP Workforce Now.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
A passion for teamwork and a results-driven approach.
Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Full-Time Position With Remote Options
This is a full-time opportunity offering 40 hours per week. After 90 days of employment, we also offer partial remote scheduling options, providing flexibility to suit your needs.
