Human Resources Generalist Jobs

Mountain Crane Service is looking for a knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist looking to learn and grow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the HR team to implement Mountain Crane's initiatives, policies, procedures and practices
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Recruit and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers
• Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, disputs and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development
• Maintains ADP HRIS system and new hire orientation workflow
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Ability to effectively manage time with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• At least two years of human resource experience required
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• SHRM-CP or APHR/PHR a plus
