Job Description

Search Solution Group is looking for an HR Director to lead HR functions for a growing health system in the South.

Formulates, recommends, initiates, and maintains Hospital Human Resources programs; manages, encourages, develops and supports Hospital Human Resources staff in the discharge of their individual functions and responsibilities; maintains appropriate statistics and related HR metrics, advises, consults and serves as a resource to administrators and managers regarding personnel matters and policies; coordinates employee communications as appropriate; oversees employment legal matters; ensures compliance with Human Resource Joint Commission standards, employee health requirements and other regulatory agencies.


Manages the Human Resources Staff in the discharge of their duties and conducts annual employee reviews in conjunction with the established performance management system.


Coordinates staffing activities to ensure adequate manpower for all Hospital operations and in conjunction with the Hospital's established productivity management system. Serves as a resource to and provides consultation to internal constituents on issues relating to Human Resources policy and procedures. Plans and recommends improvements in departmental operations and services.


Maintains current departmental policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. Staffs the department appropriately and realigns staff responsibilities as needed.


Administers job duties uniformly, responsibly, ethically and fairly to enhance the role of Human Resources as an employee advocate while balancing management responsibilities. Translates Hospital strategic initiatives into effective workforce outcomes.


Participates in Management Council activities, planning and development activities. Evaluates data, reports, decisions and other input sources to ensure continuous improvement of departmental services to all internal and external constituents, including medical staff. Acts as a role model of professionalism and high ethical standards within and outside the Hospital.
