Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Coordinator in Baytown, TX, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources Manager and collaborating with various departments. As an integral part of our workforce, you will contribute to recruitment efforts, HR functions, and facilitate seamless processes for managers and supervisors. Your responsibilities will encompass handling applications, maintaining records, assisting with payroll, and generating reports using HRIS and Microsoft Excel. This role also involves participation in HR projects and initiatives to enhance our people-centric programs.
Key Responsibilities
Process employment and enrollment applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS, supporting data integrity.
Provide support for payroll-related tasks.
Compile insightful reports and analytics using HRIS and Excel.
Address Routine Inquiries About HR Processes.
Contribute to HR policy execution through project participation.
Collaborate on business-specific initiatives to enhance employee programs.
Qualifications And Experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks.
Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on task completion.
Experience with data entry and HR systems.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and analytics.
6 months to 2 years of experience in HR, Project Management, Supply Chain, or related field (interns welcome).
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
Bonus: Experience in production, trucking, warehouse, or manufacturing settings.
Bonus: High-volume recruitment and onboarding experience.
Bonus: Familiarity with background checks, drug screens, and DOT regulations.
Uphold professional conduct, strong work ethic, and utmost confidentiality in handling employee matters.
Work Conditions
This position offers the possibility of working remotely up to one (1) day per week.
Salary Range
Competitive hourly rate of $22-23, commensurate with experience.
