Responsibilities
The human resources (HR) coordinator oversees and ensures efficient human resources processes across the entire company. The HR coordinator will focus on administrative tasks such as health, and welfare, and maintain clear procedures between employees and possible 3rd-party insurance providers.
Qualifications
•Compensation and Benefits Administration
oUse HR software to manage payroll and employee benefits, including bonuses, leaves, and absences administration.
oOrganize and maintain personnel records, enter new data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases.
oCreate regular presentations and reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention rates, and more.
oManage and run the HRIS software of the organization, and make sure it’s updated.
oKeeping track of the records to ensure meeting goals and delivering on employee requirements, employee engagement and relations both inside and outside the HR department.
oAssist workers with retirement funds, life, dental, health, and other benefits claims.
oVerify the monthly premium statements calculation for all relevant group insurance policies and maintain statistical data that affects costs, claims, and premiums.
oNavigate Finances of Employee Benefits Plans
oProcess reports & employment contracts for HRIS and Payroll processing.
oMay assist in payroll processing, as needed.
oMay assist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes.
•Employment Law
oOversee employee labor laws and regulations to assure compliance.
oEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements and may assist in conducting investigations.
•Employee Development and Training
oProcess documentation and prepare reports relating to performance reviews.
oPlan new hires onboarding strategies and perform new employees’ orientation to deliver an exceptional first day experience.
oArrange seminars, workshops, and conferences based on each department’s needs.
•Wellness and Safety
oCoordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees’ experience.
oReinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.
•Employee Relations
oSupport employees when human resources issues arise with efficient problem-solving.
oRecommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship.
oConduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data.
Requirements
•High school diploma: BSc/BA in human resources or relevant field is preferred.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office package and office management software (ERP etc.)
•4 years direct experience in enterprise-level application integration.
•Proven technical project management experience.
•Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
•Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
•Understanding of end-user needs and requirements.
•Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
•2+ years in the human resources field.
•2+ years with employee relations.
•2+ years in managing benefits and compensation.
•At least one year of experience involved in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, development of training programs, and employee database management.
•At least one year of experience implementing tactics to improve performance management.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with employees at all company levels.
•Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
•Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local laws regulating employee relations practices.
•Human resource information system (HRIS) knowledge.
•Experience with HR analytics and human resources metrics.

Applicant is not involved in making crucial company decisions, nor have direct reports; however, they will be a reliable backbone inside the HR department and must be a motivated team player who is extremely organized, professional, and possesses solid communication, written, and analytical skills.
This role is on-site M-F, 8am – 5pm or 8:30a – 5:30p. This position is a FT hourly, non-exempt position and is eligible for company paid benefits. Overtime is on a case-by-case basis and will be required from time to time with or without advance notice.
