ORC is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our Charlotte, NC corporate team to support our company nationwide.

The HR Coordinator assists and supports a wide range of HR responsibilities including employee recordkeeping, onboarding, system maintenance and other HR administrative functions.
What you will be doing:
- Monitors federal, state and other relevant compliance and regulation changes that could impact company.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Handle unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
- Enter new hire and update current employee information in records management and HR systems.
- Addresses employee questions.
- Generate monthly reports.
- Assist with the hire/pre-onboarding process, including multi-system data entry and follow-up.
- Coordinate random drug screenings.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically: Excel - able to add/delete rows and columns, sort and filter, search for data within a workbook, and other basic formatting, Word – must be able to format documents and letters and track changes made to documents; must be able to upload documents into a shared online database, such as Dropbox or equivalent, Outlook – create/maintain outlook calendar; effectively sort and organize outlook emails
- Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems.
- Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Bonus points is you have:
- HR designation
- Experience with Vantagepoint, UKG, ticket system or similar employee database systems
Relocation and/or per diem are not provided for this position.

Physical Requirements: English language proficient. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen, includes prolonged periods of sitting. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff.
