Responsibilities: Will be working in Carnesville, GA
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Assist in payroll preparation.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Contributes to ongoing recruiting efforts as needed.
- Mitigates employee relation issues while adhering to company policy, state and federal laws and regulations.
- You’ll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.
- Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department.
- Support HR management in all workforce development, recruitment and training initiatives
- May conduct new hire orientation.
- Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
- Compile, update, and maintain employee records.
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Maintains complete confidentiality of all HR-related information.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
- Continually works with department to streamline the hiring process and improve internal policies.
- Ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Manages benefits program and vendor relationships. Assists employees with questions, concerns, and enrollment.
- May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
- Process new hire paperwork; guide employees through orientation
- Able to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure.
- Good listening and speaking skills, to communicate with employees about sensitive matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Available for occasional travel to remote sites < 10%
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with ADP payroll is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field desired.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in HR
