The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the administration and management of human resource policies, procedures, and services for the company. Fosters a positive employee relations climate in furthering Adapt Forward’s strategic vision and business objectives. Leads by example and cultivates a strong team environment within the department and across the organization.


Position Requirements And Duties


  • Manages corporate training initiatives for employees and managers.
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on human resource matters.
  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to VP of HR for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Oversees and manages the performance review cycle, on-boarding, out-processing and personnel changes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinates with VP of HR on special projects and programs as required.
  • Advises employees surrounding HR policies and procedures.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR generalist, management, and employees when sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, performance concerns and terminations.
  • Serves as the initial contact for employee relations concerns.
  • Serves as a contributor in employee engagement activities.
  • Manages personnel policies, procedures, and HR training programs in accordance with federal and state guidelines, including—but not limited to—employee handbook, performance improvement plans, and progressive discipline programs.


Supervisory Duties And Responsibilities


  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • US Citizen
  • Six to eight years of progressive human resource management experience with at least three years of direct personnel management.

  • Experience in effectively and positively working across the organization and throughout all levels of the organization.
  • International business / intercultural communications experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • SHRM-SCP highly desired.
