About Houston (Spring)
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.
By bringing many global functional groups together, the campus provides employees with the tools and capabilities needed today, and in the future, to achieve business objectives and accelerate the discovery of new resources, technologies and products. It was designed to foster improved collaboration, creativity and innovation and enhance the company’s ability to attract, develop and retain the top talent in the industry.
The campus is located in Spring, Texas, on 385 wooded acres immediately to the west of Interstate Highway 45 (I-45), at the intersection of I-45 and the Hardy Toll Road, approximately 25 miles from the cultural vibrancy of downtown Houston. The campus was constructed to the highest standards of energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. What you will do
- As a strategic partner to business/ function, you will proactively engage in the development of business strategies; consider these insights as input to talent strategy development and workforce planning Talent Strategy and Strategic Workforce Planning
- Acting as the straight edge with Business / Functions, you will be accountable to execute processes such as Performance Assessment, Career Planning, Succession Planning & Career and Staffing in line with corporate intent, engaging with career communities to ensure scale of the corporation is considered where appropriate.
- As a member of business leadership, functional HR teams and as a leader in the corporation you will live the “Expectations of leaders “as well as hold others accountable
- You will work across the HR function to full leverage the integrated HR Operating Model and proactively identify areas for continuous improvement
- You will implement labor processes, in line with corporate principles and expectations, and in partnership with central groups and regional teams as well as ensuring smooth execution of mergers, acquisition and other asset management activities
- You will have the opportunity to lead a team of skilled HR professionals to develop and execute talent strategies in partnership with business leaders
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver HR solutions based on analytical insights
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
- 15+ years of HR experience, which preferably crosses multiple aspects of the Human Resources and Talent Management disciplines
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Preference for degree disciplines which demonstrate analytical capability
- Human Resources experience with Fortune 500 companies
- Strategic capability, Intellectual curiosity & demonstrated leadership
- Willingness to relocate within the US and globally as part of broader career development
