As the Food Solutions Team Lead for Sysco, you'll be at the forefront of driving joint business planning and implementing key business strategies. Your expertise in culinary, eCommerce, sustainability, and marketing will add tremendous value to our customers. Leading forecasting efforts and ensuring top-notch service levels will be integral to your role.
In this age of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), you'll collaborate with local sales teams and generate operator leads from both HQ and OpCo contacts. As a brand ambassador, you'll elevate the presence of our brands within Sysco, particularly accelerating the delivery of Savory/Scratch Cooking growth initiatives. You'll also play a vital role in leading business initiatives that improve our ways of working, making a real impact as a senior member of the Customer Development Leadership team in the US.

A Paradox Navigator: You gracefully navigate complex situations, efficiently working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level and customer personnel, to maximize business outcomes.
What You'll Need To Succeed
A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in the Foodservice Industry.
5+ years of Sales and/or Marketing Leadership experience within the foodservice Industry.
Proven senior management networking experience within large, multi-layered organizations.
Strong track record in multi-variable customer negotiation and successful Joint Business Planning with multi-million dollar customers.
In-depth understanding of Sysco foodservice and their ways of working.
Ability to motivate the sales team indirectly to both hunt and farm for new business in the market.
Experience selling branded food categories.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills throughout the organization.
Must be accountable and committed to delivering KPIs and team goals.
Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning, multi-year plans, and implementations.
Passionate about understanding consumers/operators and their needs.
