Job Description
Job Summary


The HR Coordinator performs diverse administrative functions, which may be complex and often confidential, to include clerical, administrative and other duties to assist the Director of Human Resources and other H. R. Team Members.


Qualification Summary


Education & Experience


  • Computer skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Excel, & Power Point.
  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience.


Physical Requirements


  • Light work-Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 5 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Long hours sometimes required.


Mental Requirements


  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic mathematical functions.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
  • Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
  • Ability to prioritize work under minimal direction.


Duties And Functions


  • Maintain regular attendance according to Callaway standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the H.R. Department.
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities on an ongoing basis, as evidenced by completion of duties/meeting deadlines
  • Assists with preparing and communicating information to employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.
  • Comply with Callaway standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Resort operations.
  • Assists with the administration of employee benefit programs for SDC Attractions, such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, employee assistance, retirement & other plans.
  • Responsible for I-9 tracking, reviews and/or audits
  • Ensures receipt of I-9 documentation for new employees in accordance with federal law
  • Update employee records with changes and/or corrections in employment status, including salary, position information and personal information
  • Manages and maintains employee files, updating HRIS data and personnel information
  • Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties at any time.
  • Provides administrative support for Director of Human Resources and other H.R. Team Members as needed, ensuring all correspondence, reports, etc. are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Run MVRs for the annual insurance renewal.
  • File all documentation.
  • Assist in bi-weekly payroll deadlines and managing operating team payroll accountability
  • Assist with all HR-sponsored Host events as needed.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Must treat all information confidentially.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Assist applicants, Team Members, Guests, answer phones, and take messages.
  • Prepare various reports, as requested, by HR staff, as well as management team
  • Be knowledgeable of and assist with employment functions of new Hosts to include, but not limited to, job requisitions, interview screening, background checks, and Host ID's.
  • Complete and mail Separation Notices for those Team Members who have terminated employment.
  • Perform routine office functions. Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Process pay changes, separations, secondary's, performance evaluations, and training for Team Members in HRIS.
