We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the People team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration, with proficiency in Workday (or another HRIS) and a solid understanding of benefits administration.


In order to be considered for this position, candidates must reside in one of the following cities: Atlanta, Boston, New York City or Washington, DC.


Responsibilities


Workday Administration:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for routine Workday-related inquiries and issues.
  • Process employee data changes, new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in Workday.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS system.


Benefits Administration


  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting benefits orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, and enrollment processes.
  • Collaborate with benefit providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.


HR Operations Support


  • Assist in maintaining personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the onboarding process by conducting new employee orientations and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
  • Prepare and distribute employment offer letters, employment agreements, and other HR-related documents.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and training.


Compliance And Policies


  • Stay up to date with relevant employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring accurate and timely reporting and documentation.


Requirements


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration processes, including enrollment, eligibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR-related software.
  • Proficiency in Workday HRIS system, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


Compensation


  • You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.
  • The annual base compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $75,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications
  • Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package that may be available to employees.
