Autism Behavior Consultants (ABC) specializes in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders. At ABC, we utilize evidence-based applications of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address deficit skills (e.g. adaptive, play, social) and behavioral excesses (e.g. tantrum, eloping/fleeing) to improve the quality of life of the child and family. ABC collaborates with families to create a well-rounded, individualized treatment plan that targets behaviors that are of the highest priority, and provides training and support to parents and caregivers.
- Ensure employee information in all human resource information systems are accurate.
- Participates in training activities and special projects.
- Assists in open enrollment communications and respond to employee’s questions.
- Responds to general inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensures all employee files contain required documents.
- Assists in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures.
- Process employee changes including; new hires, payroll changes, terminations, and promotions.
- Provides staffing and recruiting support, job posting and administration of applicants.
- Coordinates on-boarding process for new hires, and conducts new employee orientation.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent administrative support/secretarial experience,
- Previous Presentation and Interviewing skills are a plus
- Minimum of 1-2 year of recent experience in HR is preferable
- BA or BS degree in Personnel Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Experience may substitute for four-year degree on a year for year basis.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to responsibilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented and capable of producing quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including phone and e-mail etiquette.
- Knowledge of government reporting regulations affecting human resources
- Professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of human resource information system capabilities.
- Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels; able to work in a collaborative environment
- Supervisory Responsibility – None
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong communications skills
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases; preferred
- May require occasional travel by car
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS; preferred
