We are seeking an Onboarding / Payroll Assistant to join our team! Position is responsible for supporting our Onboarders who ensure newly hired associates have a smoothly onboarding experience into our company.
This position acts as additional support for Human Resources and other Admin departments.
This is an entry level position. Pay range is $18-20 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all logged Onboarding issues are followed up on and cleared in a timely manner
- Communicating the receipt of time sensitive documents.
- Creating credentials for new associates as well as terminating credentials when associates leave.
- Entering high volume new hires into the Payroll / HRIS system
- Acts as point of contact as it relates to equipment and access of new employees
- Manager inventory of IT equipment and system accesses for onboarding staff
- Audit and maintain accurate data in HRIS system such as contact information, EEO Classification, timekeeping set-up/access, etc.
- Work as a team to ensure a smooth new hire process for new and existing candidates.
- Reviewing and validating all incoming documents. Accurately classifying, filing, distributing files.
- Will occasionally assist with the creation of offer letters and employee contracts
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Highly Self-Motivated and proactive
- Exceptional Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Previous administrative work history preferred
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office products
- Strong business acumen
