Overview

Our client is looking for a Business Analysts to join the Provider Networks Management team. This team is critical in managing “everything” provider-data related – namely online and physical provider directories that are maintained and tested on a daily basis for accuracy.

The organization’s current Benefits Solution, Portico, is being sunset and replaced with a new system that runs on a Salesforce engine. This system manages provider data that feeds the online directory, ensures claims are being adjudicated correctly, as well as for credentialing. The Business Analysts will be responsible for gathering requirements, writing requirements, presenting requirements, creating and executing test plans and test cases – and managing the testing efforts, and working cross-functionally with different teams with an end-goal of successfully implementing the new platform – which has an MVP go-live of August 2023 with forecasted enhancements thereafter. From a testing perspective, the Business Analysts will be responsible for running through the entire testing lifecycle (gathering requirements, writing requirements, writing test cases, executing test cases, and ultimately speaking through the defect findings and corrective actions with upper-level management).

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of in-depth business analysis experience.

• 3+ years of experience gathering requirements, creating/documenting requirements, and presenting the requirements.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-based team.
• Experience working cross-functionally with business and IT teams to gather requirements.
• 3+ years of experience creating and executing test plans and test cases – and managing the testing efforts using Jira.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salesforce experience.

• Experience writing test scripts.
• Microsoft Visio experience.
• Experience in the healthcare / health insurance industry.
