Amaze DM
- Proactively set up and develop the Amaze DM business in the US
- Lead and manage complex projects, ensuring profitability and exceptional levels of service
- Build and maintain relationships and negotiate rates with suppliers and partners in the US to ensure effective coordination for hotel, transportation, security services etc
- Maintain strong relationships with our clients ensuring business growth
- Handle the logistics of sports teams and their entourage coming into the US. This includes the team, the sponsors, the directors, the journalists, and the fans who all have individual programs and priorities
- Grow our sports portfolio ensuring profitability and margin growth
- Negotiate hotel contracts for all target groups, and the suppliers to get the best possible rates
- Manage operations for a variety of sports across the US
- Develop our client portfolio in the US and surrounding areas
- Coordinate the airport procedures for arrivals and departures, of incoming clubs, and manage the logistics and procedures at the stadium. Tailor each event to fit the specific requirements of our client – This could be a pre-season tour, European team, or local clubs who travel regularly
- Has extensive experience in Destination Management specifically working within the sports industry, sports logistics and high-end incentive businesses
- Has proven leadership and social skills and the ability to coordinate and manage operations for multiple stakeholders
- Is based in or near Atlanta, Georgia (remote role with travel to Atlanta office available for the right candidate)
- Has excellent negotiations skills with the ability to grow and develop the relationships with our clients and suppliers
- Has the ability to build, manage and coach a team
- Has the ability to speak foreign languages (Spanish, French & German would be highly desirable)
- Has a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
- Is computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office
- Possesses exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Has vast experience and existing relationships with hotels and local authorities
- Possesses excellent local knowledge (Hospitality & Destination) and a good network of contacts
- Has a proven track record of working closely with sports teams to manage and coordinate tours and events
- Is solutions orientated & a proactive leader who can set up and develop the business in the US
- Has the ability to think logically and consider all relevant aspects with strong analytical skills
- Must be able to travel around the US and potentially overseas
- Has the ability to manage large number of tasks simultaneously
